Kimberly has been conducting in-depth research since 1995 and has worked in a wide variety of industries including consumer electronics, high tech, medical equipment, consumer goods, and financial services. Kimberly has worked with companies such as Kodak, GE Plastics, Nikon, Clorox, Charles Schwab, Wells Fargo, LifeScan and International Home Foods. Kimberly thrives on creatively applying in-depth research techniques to help clients understand the customer experience. Our clients note that they come to Kimberly when they need to solve especially challenging research problems. Prior to launching KDA Research in 1997, Kimberly worked at Fitch Inc., an international design firm, as a Senior Associate in the research department. At Fitch, Kimberly’s clients included Avery Dennison, Champion, EKCO Housewares, GE Plastics, GTECH, Harmon Kardon/JBL, Netscape, and Whistler. Kimberly holds an MA in Sociology and Communications from the University of London, Goldsmiths' College, where she specialized in consumer behavior, and a B.A. in Political Science from Dickinson College. Kimberly is a member of QRCA (Qualitative Research Consultants Association) and is past editor of the Qualitative Toolbox Feature Editor for QRCA Views. |

Steve August

In October of 2007, Revelation, KDA's online immersive research web platform, was spun out from KDA Research and Steve August departed KDA to become CEO of Revelation, Inc. For more information about Revelation, please visit www.revelationglobal.com. While at KDA, Steve directed KDA's efforts in assessing and utilizing technology to innovate new research techniques and methodologies. Steve spearheaded the development of Revelation™ and Online Immersive Research. Prior to joining KDA Research, Steve served as an in-house technologist and exhibit developer for Gyroscope, a museum exhibit design and planning company based in Oakland, CA. Steve has published articles in Quirk's Marketing Research Review, Productmarketing.com magazine, and the Silicon Valley Product Managers Association newsletter. Steve holds a BA in American Studies from Brandeis University where he specialized in popular culture. In 2004, Steve served as Vice President of Meetings for the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the American Marketing Association. A published songwriter, Steve has had several of his songs featured on the Lifetime cable channel detective drama, "The Division." |
